New M Serie RAPIDO, two a-class models on Mercedes Sprinter

The new streamlined front has been specially designed for this series and combines the Mercedes style with that of the Distinction Series, which is the jewel in Rapido’s crown. Its new elegant, sporty grill sports a star in its centre and proudly proclaims its heritage. Its exterior décor is also brand new, meaning that your Rapido M Series is unlike any other. The rear connector of the M Series is also totally new. Its rear aspect, with its high lamp units and its chrome bar, is reminiscent of the design of the Distinction i10, with the addition of the Mercedes star in its centre. 

The M Series is the newest addition to the Rapido range. This successful outcome is the result of lengthy development work and a close partnership with Mercedes. It sits on the new Mercedes Sprinter chassis, offering the performance of the AL-KO chassis, and can provide a full-width storage double floor with internal and external access. And, as for driving, its car-style dashboard and many driving aides will make every trip genuinely enjoyable and stress-free. 

There is an exclusive Mercedes decoration on the side of the vehicle, while reiterating the Rapido logo. You will also be able to take advantage of the side hatches to access the full-width storage double floor.

In the cab, the M66 and M96 models have a multifunction, height- and depth-adjustable steering wheel, which also controls the driving aides of the MBUX system (M Pack). The MBUX multimedia system with its 10.25” touch screen has everything you need in terms of information, entertainment, navigation and communication in your vehicle. The screen also displays the reversing camera image. As standard, the M66 and M96 models also have ESP, Start & Stop, Tempomat cruise control with speed limiter, and hill start assist.

In terms of ambiance, the M Series enjoys an all-new style known as Duna, which features warm colours and modern lines. This is reflected in the horizontal wood grain, a real revival in the world of recreational vehicles. The lounge enjoys two face-to-face bench seats, fitted with armrests which will serve as headrests during the new forward-facing conversion. 

The kitchen unit incorporates the Rapido codes with the glossy white fronts and skirt of the drawers, as well as back lighting. Finally, the 3-hob stove makes way for a standard 2-hob stove, for more day-to-day functionality, which can be replaced by a 3-hob stove as an optional extra. The new M Series enjoys a new cooker hood with a designer, touch-sensitive façade.

The bathroom benefits from a double separation to ensure privacy for everyone. In the bedroom, there is the choice of an island bed (M96) or two twin beds (M66). The XXL island bed is 160 cm wide to provide home-like comfort. It rests on a retractable base frame so as to facilitate movement at the foot of the bed and raise the headboard for greater comfort. 

Available in 143 hp as standard, or 180 hp as optional extra, the new M Series A-class models sit on the Mercedes Sprinter Traction base vehicle.
